With an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama I have a solid, wide and deep understanding of both the artistic and pedagogical aspect of actor training. My training is influenced by acting techniques and methods such as Grotowski, Stanislavski, Chekhov, Meisner, Viewpoints, Lecoq and Eugene Barba. I have been developing and conducting workshops for drama centres, theatre companies, drama departments, and universities around the globe.

I am continuously exploring the notion of stage presence, actor’s authenticity and the embodied artistic process where not only the actor’s mind and body is in focus but also the environment she is surrounded by and the time she is in (embodied cognition). I believe that both physical as well as psycho-physical approach is necessary to reach a fully embodied (and truthful) performance and have developed a training program were the both approaches play equally important roles. My training gives the actor freedom to explore vocal, physical and emotional expressions. Text analysis, characterization, voice and movement are approached by and with the actor’s whole physical being. It is a collaboration between mind, body, voice and soul.
